Do you know where the largest trap and skeet shooting team in the world is?
Hastings, Minnesota.
This spring, 126 trap and 34 skeet shooters have registered for Hastings High School. That includes 39 females, the most they’ve ever had. Hastings competes at 3M Gun Club in Cottage Grove.
“We had a really good batch of young shooters last year that I look for great things to happen this year,” head coach Earl Robinson told the Hastings Star Gazette. “I believe that we have quite a few (shooters) that are possible (to advance to state or nationals).”
