Skeet Leagues have been launched in 11 states following the announcement of the skeet shooting discipline being added to the USA High School Clay Target League’s nationwide programs this spring.
In skeet shooting, student athletes shoot from eight positions on a semicir- cular field, with two houses launching targets at each corner of the semicircle. One trap launches targets from 10 feet above ground, and the other launches from 3 feet above ground. Each athlete shoots two 25-target rounds.
